There are many charities in Asia and throughout the world working toward preventing the Asian elephant population from its exceedingly rapid decline. Listed below are the ones The Elephants Umbrella Fund has worked directly with. This cooperation has resulted in exchange of information, rescuing elephants, fund raising and support. high-profile international wildlife charity, working worldwide to save lives, stop suffering ,protect wild animals and keep wildlife in the wild.

WWW.ELEFANTASIA.ORG Sebastien Duffillot manages this France based
non-profit group based in Laos. Their expansive work includes preserving both the domestic and wild elephants, education and training of mahouts, a mobil vet unit and raising the consciousness of people about the plight of the elephant.

Foundation, managed by John Roberts is a safe haven for abused elephants or those that can not work and provides employment for good mahouts and allows them to continue working.

provides homes for many elephants, contributing to their well being, giving vet care and a necessary herd environment. The Park also is involved in reintroducing a rain forest in the surrounding area by planting trees.

Connor in northern Thailand. The Boon Lott's Elephant Sanctuary proposes a new type of elephant refuge where the animals can roam free and focuses on the survival and growth in numbers of the Asian elephant.
